About Driftwood Craft
Hi, I'm James, at Driftwood Craft.
In 2022, my wife and I attended 8 weddings (including our own). At most of these weddings were wedding favours, signs, and decor, that had been made using a laser cutter. As i saw the variety of products that could be made or customised using a laser cutter, the idea that 'I could do that' entered my head, and was hard to shake. So hard, that at the end of 2022, I jumped in with both feet and purchased a laser cutter, to add to my already fairly well stocked (but under-used) workshop.
In March, I launched my first product, a lovely mini Easter Egg box, shaped like the Easter Bunny. These proved extremely popular in my local area, and so Driftwood Craft was off the ground!
My latest item is a layered Walnut and Maple street map, which can be customised, and made of any area you choose. Check them out on my 'Catalogue' page!
When not lasering, I'm generally kepy out of trouble by my 'proper' job (I'm a Naval Architect), and young family. Living in Hill Head, Fareham, you'll also find me on the beach with our mad Lab/Pointer, or kitesurfing, when the wind behaves.
